Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is often the first step for patients suffering from addiction but are ready to turn their lives around. This is an intensive, highly structured treatment program that includes a minimum of 25 hours of clinical treatment per week, scheduled evening programs designed to support recovery, 12-step meetings, community housing in a beautiful residential setting, and relationship-building activities for a sober lifestyle. This level of care is ideal for patients who may be resistant to treatment, lack social or family support in their daily lives, or are prone to relapse.

Outpatient Program

Patients who have completed an IOP are strongly encouraged to transition into the next level of care, an outpatient program (OP), to ensure long-term success in recovery. This is a non-residential program for people who are fully integrated back into society, offering one hour of weekly therapeutic care in addition to other recovery activities such as 12-step meetings. The flexibility of an OP makes it a feasible treatment option for patients who lead busy lives.

Medically Monitored Detox

Individuals with substance use disorders experience withdrawal symptoms when quitting due to physical dependence. Symptoms, which vary by substance and usage duration, can include headaches, sweating, anxiety, and seizures. Because withdrawal can be dangerous, our facility recommends starting recovery with a medically assisted detox. Our medical professionals establish tapering schedules and use medication to ensure the safety and comfort of the patient.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

What is an intensive outpatient program?

For patients who have completed a PHP or another form of inpatient addiction treatment, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is an ideal solution to maintain sobriety and adapt to the responsibilities of reintegrating into society. Recovery is a lengthy process and an IOP is available when people are most vulnerable to relapse and faced with the challenge of adapting to daily life and coping without using drugs or alcohol.

Our IOP offers group and individual therapy as well as 12-step meetings, sober social activities, and relationship-building within the recovery network. The professionals at our rehab centers provide a minimum of nine hours of clinical treatment per week for each individual, working together on a flexible schedule to ensure patients can meet responsibilities such as family, work, and school. Additionally, patients also have the option to stay in our beautiful residential facility.

Family Program

Families and loved ones often suffer just as much as the addict. Our professionals at all levels of care for addiction treatment are dedicated to providing support groups for families of addicts. The family programs at Legacy Healing Center provide education about enabling high-risk behavior as well as training for parents, spouses, and siblings to learn how to more effectively communicate with their loved ones suffering from addiction. Families may participate in therapy sessions to prepare for the challenges on the road to recovery.

Aftercare Therapy

Sobriety can be difficult to sustain when you’re no longer receiving round-the-clock care and support that’s typical at other levels of addiction treatment in a rehab facility. Without an aftercare therapy program, the transition to a sober lifestyle after rehab can be challenging, especially for those who don’t have loved ones at home who can support them. Fortunately, our Legacy Healing Center locations provide addiction aftercare programs and services to support our rehab alumni after they’ve completed treatment to help them stay on track.
